Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KSEW) is one of Pakistan’s oldest and most reputable shipbuilding and engineering companies, situated at West Wharf in Karachi. KSEW is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the post of Deputy General Manager on a contract basis. The organization is looking for experienced professionals with a background in electrical, mechanical, electronics, marine, or naval architecture to fill this important role. There are two vacancies available for this position, and the selected individuals will be responsible for various managerial and technical tasks related to ship repair, maintenance, and the marine industry.

Eligibility Criteria and Requirements
- The candidate must have a master’s (MS) or bachelor’s (BE) degree in electrical, mechanical, electronics, marine, or naval architecture from a recognized university.
- A minimum of 15 to 20 years of relevant experience in a large industry or organization is mandatory.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in ship repair, maintenance, or marine-related industries.
Education
Candidates must hold an MS or BE degree in one of the specified fields from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized local or reputed foreign university. Degrees should be duly verified by the relevant board or authority.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for the position is 45 years. However, relaxation in the age limit will be provided to extraordinary candidates based on merit.
