Available Posts and Details:

  1. Position: Project Manager (PPS-7)
    • Number of Posts: 1
    • Contract Basis: 1 year, extendable on performance basis
    • Age Limit: Up to 45 years on the date of appointment
    • Required Qualification and Experience:
      • 1st Class BS/Master (16 years) degree in the field of BBA/MBA/BE from an HEC-recognized university/institution with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in handling PSDP/Govt. projects.
      • OR MS (equivalent to 18 years) in Project Management with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in handling PSDP projects, preferably in the higher education sector.
    • Responsibilities: Candidates should have knowledge about project execution/management, PEC, PPRA, Finance, Planning Commission, and other government rules/procedures prescribed for the implementation of PSDP development projects.
  2. Position: Accountant (PPS-6)
    • Number of Posts: 1
    • Contract Basis: 1 year, extendable on performance basis
    • Age Limit: Up to 40 years on the date of appointment
    • Required Qualification and Experience:
      • 1st Class Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from an HEC-recognized university/institution with at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
      • Knowledge of PPRA, government rules, and procedures related to financial management and execution of PSDP projects is required.

General Information:

  1. Selection will be made by the RMU Committee on merit according to Government/University rules.
  2. Applications will be acceptable only on the prescribed forms available on the University website: www.rmur.edu.pk.
  3. Application forms duly filled according to given instructions with CV, current photograph, and attested documents should be received before January 20, 2025, in the office of the Coordinator Development, Rawalpindi Medical University, New Teaching Block, Rawalpindi.
  4. Interested candidates are required to submit a Bank Draft/Pay Order of Rs.500/- in the name of the Vice Chancellor, Rawalpindi Medical University.
  5. Government servants/employees of autonomous institutions should apply through proper channels.
  6. Incomplete applications, applications received after the due date, and applications of overage candidates will not be entertained.
  7. Selected government employees will arrange their deputation by themselves.
  8. The competent authority reserves the right to reduce or increase the number of posts advertised as well as change/cancel the recruitment process.
