Food Department Gilgit-Baltistan Jobs 2026 for 15 Data Entry Operator, UDC and LDC Posts

The Food Department Gilgit-Baltistan has invited applications for 15 permanent vacancies through the Gilgit-Baltistan Testing Service (GBTS). Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must possess Gilgit-Baltistan domicile.
• Candidates must meet the educational and typing requirements of their chosen post.
• Data Entry Operator applicants must meet the prescribed speed of 10,000 key depressions per hour.
• UDC applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and be computer literate.
• LDC applicants must have Intermediate education and a typing speed of 30 words per minute.
• Government employees must apply through the proper channel.
• Women, persons with disabilities and minority quotas will be observed under the applicable Government of Gilgit-Baltistan rules.
• Candidates who previously applied under the 19 September 2025 advertisement published in Ausaf, Daily K-2 or Baad-e-Shumaal do not need to submit another application.
• Selected candidates may be posted in any district of Gilgit-Baltistan.

Salary

• Data Entry Operator: BS-15.
• Upper Division Clerk: BS-14.
• Lower Division Clerk: BS-11.
• Monthly salary amounts are not specified in the advertisement.

Age Limit

• The advertised age range is 20 to 28 years for all three posts.
• For previous applicants, age will be calculated as of 10 October 2025.
• For new applicants, age will be calculated as of 30 September 2026.
• Upper-age relaxation will be granted under the applicable Government of Gilgit-Baltistan rules.

Selection Process

• Recruitment will follow the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan’s applicable recruitment rules.
