GEPCO Jobs 2026 for 3 Assistant Manager Posts

Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO) has announced three Assistant Manager vacancies for its Advanced Metering Infrastructure operations. The positions are available in Database Administration, Network Support and Meter Data Management on an open-merit basis. Candidates must hold a relevant four-year bachelor’s degree or master’s degree recognized by HEC, with at least two years of relevant experience. Applicants from across Pakistan are eligible, and the advertised age range is 21 to 33 years, including five years of general age relaxation. Appointments will initially be made on a three-year contract with a lump-sum pay package, extendable subject to satisfactory performance. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates from across Pakistan may apply on an open-merit basis.
• Degrees must be recognized by HEC.
• At least two years of experience in the relevant field is required.
• Applicants must have completed the required qualification by the closing date. Candidates awaiting results or issuance of their final transcript, degree or diploma are not eligible.
• Candidates whose transcripts show CGPA must obtain results showing percentage marks from their respective institutions before applying.
• Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Windows, internet and email will be an additional advantage.
• Government employees must apply through the proper channel and produce a departmental NOC at the interview.
• Selected candidates must perform duties within GEPCO’s jurisdiction.

Salary

• A lump-sum pay package will be offered.
• The notification does not specify the salary amount.
• Contract appointments will not be regularized at any stage.

Age Limit

• The advertised age range is 21 to 33 years, including five years of general age relaxation.
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Buddhist communities are allowed an additional three years of relaxation.
• Government servants and WAPDA/DISCO employees with at least two years of continuous service may apply up to the age of 43 years, subject to the stated conditions.

Application Fee

• The total test fee is Rs. 540 per application.
• Candidates must pay Rs. 270, representing 50% of the fee; GEPCO will pay the remaining Rs. 270.
• Candidates with disabilities are exempt from paying the test fee; GEPCO will bear the full fee.
• Payment must be made through the NTS 1Link/1Bill payment channels specified in the advertisement.

Selection Process

• Eligible candidates will appear in an NTS written test.
• Only shortlisted candidates falling within merit under the applicable recruitment policy will be called for an interview.
• Original documents and one set of attested photocopies must be presented at the interview.
• Roll-number slips containing test details will be uploaded to the NTS website at least one week before the test.
• No TA/DA will be provided for the test or interview.
