Eligibility Criteria
System Integrator Expert applicants must have at least 15 years of experience in hydrometeorology, early warning, systems integration and ICT modernization, including leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
NWP and Forecasting Expert applicants must have at least eight years of experience in operational numerical weather prediction or weather forecasting, including ensemble forecasting, verification and HPC-supported workflows. Two comparable assignments are required.
ICT/Software & Data Integration Expert applicants must have at least 15 years of experience in software engineering and data integration, including real-time data acquisition, CDMS and WIS2 platforms.
HPC Infrastructure Expert applicants must have at least ten years of experience in planning, procuring and managing HPC infrastructure. This must include direct responsibility for comparable operational HPC systems and two comparable projects.
Applicants may apply for more than one position by submitting a separate Expression of Interest and CV for each. However, a consultant may be selected for only one position.
