Eligibility and Experience Requirements
These vacancies are restricted to retired Pakistan Railways employees who served in the advertised categories. Applicants must possess the qualification and relevant experience prescribed for their selected position.
For the Carriage & Wagon Department, TXR Grade-III and Foreman Grade-I require 20 years of experience in rolling stock repair and maintenance. The remaining advertised positions in this department require 10 years of relevant experience.
All advertised positions in the Mechanical Loco Department require 10 years of relevant experience.
Employees who were compulsorily retired, removed or dismissed from service are not eligible. Employees who retired on medical grounds are also ineligible.
Age Limit and Medical Fitness
The maximum age limit is 62 years. Applicants must be physically fit, and the required medical fitness examination will be conducted only at a Pakistan Railways Hospital.
No travelling or daily allowance will be paid for attending an interview or medical examination.
Salary and Contract Terms
Appointments will initially be made for one year. Pakistan Railways may extend the contract for another year if required.
Selected employees will receive remuneration according to their last pay drawn in the relevant BPS, along with usual allowances. The contractual appointment will not carry additional gratuity or pension contribution benefits.
Selected candidates may be posted anywhere within the railway system. Pakistan Railways reserves the right to reject applications or change the number of vacancies.

- Railway retirement identity card or experience certificate.
