Peshawar Institute of Cardiology (PIC-MTI) has announced clinical, administrative and non-clinical employment opportunities under Advertisement Ref. 08/2026. The advertised positions include Assistant Professor, Managers, Experiential Registrars, Medical Officers, Senior Cardiac Perfusionist, Charge Nurse, Supervisor, Assistant Manager and Electrician. Qualifications range from Matriculation to relevant professional degrees and specialist medical credentials, with experience requirements varying by post. Eligibility Criteria

1. Assistant Professor–Radiology: Requires two years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field. Applicants must meet the applicable PMDC, MTI and institutional eligibility rules, including the stated experience and published research requirements. Familiarity with modern radiology techniques and equipment, and experience with advanced facilities in a reputable institution, will be preferred.
2. Manager Physiotherapy: Requires five years of relevant post-qualification experience in a tertiary care hospital. At least one year of management experience is preferred, while cardiac rehabilitation experience will be an advantage.
3. Manager Emergency Services: Requires at least five years of experience in emergency services at a reputable tertiary care hospital.
4. Experiential Registrars: Applicants must have completed FCPS-II in the relevant specialty, hold an American Board diploma, or possess a fellowship from a PMDC-recognized institute in the respective specialty, qualified within the previous 18 months. Relevant post-postgraduate experience in a tertiary care hospital will be preferred.
5. Medical Officer–Paeds Cardiology: Requires at least one year of post-house-job experience in paediatric medicine at a tertiary care hospital.
6. Medical Officer–Radiology: Requires at least one year of post-house-job experience in the relevant specialty at a tertiary care hospital.
7. Senior Cardiac Perfusionist: Requires at least five years of post-qualification cardiac perfusion experience at a tertiary care hospital. Experience with paediatric patients and ECMO will be preferred.
8. Charge Nurse: Requires at least one year of post-qualification clinical experience in a reputable hospital. Cardiac care experience will be preferred.
9. Supervisor Lab–Phlebotomy: Requires at least two years of relevant post-qualification experience as a phlebotomist in a reputable hospital. Supervisory experience in phlebotomy and knowledge of laboratory quality systems will be preferred.
10. Assistant Manager Infrastructure & Cloud: Requires at least three years of relevant post-qualification experience in data centre management, system administration, virtualization, cloud and network infrastructure. At least one year must be in a supervisory, managerial or lead role involving infrastructure operations or IT infrastructure projects. Relevant certifications, including CCNA, CompTIA+, ITIL, Azure Fundamentals, Azure AD, Microsoft 365 Administration and tenant management, will be preferred.
11. Electrician: Requires at least five years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in a reputable public or private sector organization.

Only post-qualification experience will be considered. Experience certificates must be issued by the relevant Administration, Human Resources or Establishment department, include proper references and bear a date of issuance.

Age Limit

The non-refundable processing fee is Rs. 1,000 for positions at serial numbers 1–5 and Rs. 500 for positions at serial numbers 6–12.

Selection Process

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews. No TA/DA will be provided for a test/interview.

Incomplete applications, late submissions, missing qualifications and false documents may lead to rejection or disqualification. The institution reserves the right to increase or decrease positions or revoke the recruitment process without assigning a reason.

7. In-service applicants must apply through the proper channel and provide an NOC stating their service length and other particulars.
