PUMHS Jobs 2026 for 45 Faculty, Dental Surgeon, Technical and Other Posts

People’s University of Medical & Health Sciences for Women (PUMHS), Shaheed Benazirabad, has announced 45 vacancies at its People’s Institute of Dental & Oral Health Sciences. Applications are invited from qualified candidates holding Sindh domicile for teaching, dental, technical, and supporting staff positions. Faculty opportunities include Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Demonstrator, and Dental Surgeon posts. Faculty eligibility will follow HEC or PM&DC criteria, while requirements for supporting staff are available on the university website. Faculty appointments are offered on a regular contributory pension scheme basis or contract, while supporting staff will be appointed on two-year contracts. Eligibility Criteria

Only candidates with Sindh domicile can apply. Faculty applicants must meet the relevant HEC or PM&DC eligibility criteria. Detailed requirements for non-teaching positions are available at www.pumhs.edu.pk.

Experience and research publications will be counted up to the closing date. Applicants must submit the relevant PM&DC/HEC eligibility and experience certificates where required, subject to the exemption stated for existing regular PUMHS employees.

Candidates employed in government, semi-government, autonomous, or semi-autonomous organizations must apply through the proper channel with departmental permission or an NOC. An advance copy must also reach the university within the deadline.

Age Limit

Age limits for regular appointments under the contributory pension scheme will follow government policy. For contract appointments, the maximum age is 65 years.

Application Fee

Applicants must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,500 using the system-generated bank challan. The fee must be deposited at Habib Bank Limited into Account No. 1439-79013279-01, titled “PUMHSW Other Receipts Account.”

Candidates applying for multiple vacancies must submit separate applications and challan fees for each vacancy.

Selection Process

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for further assessment by the Selection Board. Documents and experience will be verified, and false or misleading information will result in disqualification. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the written test or interview.

Women, differently abled persons, and minority quotas will be observed according to Government of Sindh policy.

How to Apply

2. Upload the required documents, a recent photograph, and the deposited bank challan as instructed by the portal.
3. Download the system-generated challan, pay the Rs. 2,500 fee, and retain the original paid challan for submission.
4. Print the completed application form and attach your CV, three recent passport-size photographs, and one set of attested copies of educational, experience, and residential documents.
5. Include your domicile, PRC/Form “D,” valid CNIC, matriculation certificate/marks sheet, degrees, and relevant professional credentials. Attach valid PM&DC registration, revised PM&DC experience certificates, and research publications where required.
6. Compile the printed application, original paid challan, and supporting documents into a compact bound set. Clearly write the post name on the top-right corner of the envelope.
7. Send the application through certified mail or courier to the Office of the Director HRM, PUMHSW (SBA), Shaheed Benazirabad, Nawabshah, Sindh.
8. Ensure the complete application reaches the office by October 20, 2026. Applications submitted by hand, on plain paper, or with only a CV will not be accepted. Postal delays and incomplete applications will not be entertained.
