Eligibility and Experience Requirements
- All applicants must hold Punjab domicile.
- Qualifications must meet the advertised requirements, including second division where specified, and be from recognized institutions.
- Additional Director General applicants require seven years of relevant experience and seven publications in relevant peer-reviewed journals.
- Director Forensic applicants require seven years of experience working in a forensic laboratory of international repute.
- Manager (Pathology & Histology) applicants require four years of relevant laboratory experience with the prescribed Level III qualification, or six years with the prescribed Level II qualification.
- Most Forensic Scientist positions require three years of relevant experience in an accredited forensic laboratory.
- Forensic Scientist (Photography) applicants applying through the Master in Fine Arts route require five years of relevant experience.
- Forensic Scientist (Pathology & Histology) applicants require three years of relevant experience with the prescribed Level III qualification, or four years with the prescribed Level II qualification.
- Only male candidates may apply for the Forensic Scientist and Junior Forensic Scientist positions in Crime & Death Scene Investigation.
- Forensic Scientist (DNA & Serology) applicants must have completed four credit hours each in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry and Population Statistics.
- Only candidates who have completed the required degree and received their final transcript will be considered.
- Foreign-degree holders must provide an HEC equivalence certificate.
- Relevant experience will be counted as post-qualification experience.
