QIMS Jobs 2026 for 60 Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Demonstrators and Senior Lecturer Posts

Quetta Institute of Medical Sciences (QIMS), Quetta Cantt, has announced 60 faculty vacancies across basic medical sciences and Behavioral Sciences. Available positions include Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Demonstrator and Senior Lecturer. An MBBS qualification is required for the main medical faculty posts, with additional qualifications, teaching experience and research publications governed by PM&DC 2025 regulations. Separate qualification options are provided for Behavioral Sciences positions. QIMS offers competitive salaries, with additional benefits for Assistant Professors and above. QIMS Vacancy

The total comprises eight Associate Professors, 16 Assistant Professors, 35 Demonstrators and one Senior Lecturer.

Eligibility Criteria

• For the main medical faculty positions, the basic qualification must be MBBS.
• Additional qualifications, teaching experience and research publications must meet PM&DC 2025 regulations.
• FCPS or PhD in Basic Sciences is preferred.
• For Senior Lecturer in Behavioral Sciences, a recognized Clinical Diploma or ADCP Diploma is preferred alongside the stated qualification options.
• For Demonstrator in Behavioral Sciences, MBBS is preferred. The advertisement also gives preference to MS/MPhil in Clinical Psychology, M.Sc./B.Sc. Psychology, recognized Clinical/ADCP diplomas or HEC-recognized equivalent qualifications.
• Applicants employed in government service or another institute must apply through the proper channel.
• An NOC from the previous institute is mandatory before joining.

Required Documents

Submit the completed employment form with documents attested by a Gazetted Officer, including:

• Academic certificates and CV.
• PM&DC teaching experience certificate, faculty registration and valid registration, as applicable.
• Copies of research publications, if any.
• CNIC copy and local or domicile certificate.
• Four passport-size photographs.
• Application processing fee receipt.

Candidates who have already applied for Demonstrator do not need to apply again. They must submit updated availability information with proof of the submission fee.

Salary and Benefits

QIMS offers competitive salaries and benefits. Assistant Professors and above are eligible for the following advertised benefits:

• Single accommodation in Quetta Cantt.
• Pick-and-drop service between residence and college.
• One return domestic air ticket annually for the employee, if belonging to a city other than Quetta.
• Married accommodation, with 50% of the rent paid by QIMS and 50% by the employee.

Selection Process

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview. No TA/DA will be admissible. The competent authority may increase or decrease the number of vacancies at any level.
