Eligibility and Experience Requirements
Treasurer applicants must have relevant experience in accounts, finance and audit, or financial management in a university, government department or autonomous statutory organization in pay scale 17 or equivalent and above. The required experience is 17 years for candidates with 16 years of education, 15 years for those with 18 years of education, and 13 years for PhD holders. The upper age limit is 48 years.
Associate Professor applicants must have a relevant PhD from an HEC-recognized university/institution. They must possess either 10 years of qualifying teaching/research or professional experience, including two years of teaching experience, or five years of qualifying post-PhD teaching/research or professional experience. Applicants must also have 10 research publications, including at least four published during the last five years in HEC/PEC-recognized journals. The upper age limit is 50 years.
Assistant Professor applicants require a relevant PhD from an HEC-recognized university/institution. The upper age limit is 45 years for both regular and contract positions.
The contract Assistant Professor appointments will initially be for six months, extendable up to three years or until a regular employee joins the same sanctioned post, whichever occurs earlier. Regular appointments fall under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Contributory Provident Fund Rules, 2022. Age relaxation will be considered under government rules on a case-by-case basis.

- Download the prescribed application form from the UET Mardan website.
- Complete the form and attach attested copies of degrees, certificates, transcripts/DMCs, experience certificates, CNIC and domicile, along with one recent photograph.
- Deposit the applicable non-refundable fee at any Bank of Khyber branch into the university account titled “Miscellaneous Fund UETM,†using the account details provided in the advertisement.
- Attach the original fee deposit receipt.
- Associate Professor applicants must also submit three sets of research papers and three sets of the publication list showing publication years and journal names.
- Submit the complete application to the Office of the Registrar, UET Mardan, by October 12, 2026.
Foreign qualifications require an HEC/IBCC equivalence certificate before the deadline. Where transcripts do not state percentage marks, applicants must provide an official percentage certificate. Experience must be supported by certificates issued by the relevant HR, establishment or equivalent section.
Candidates who previously applied for the same posts under the earlier advertisements identified in this notice must submit a fresh application with supporting documents and proof of their earlier application; they do not need to pay the processing fee again. Only eligible shortlisted candidates will be called for demonstration/interview. Original documents will be required at the interview, and no TA/DA will be paid.
