UET Mardan Jobs 2026 Recruitment for 10 Treasurer, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor Posts

The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Mardan has announced 10 vacancies under Advertisement No. 14/2026. Positions include Treasurer, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in engineering, computer science, mathematics and artificial intelligence. Eight positions are regular appointments under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Contributory Provident Fund Rules, 2022, while two Assistant Professor positions are on a contract basis. Candidates must meet the qualification, experience and professional registration requirements for their chosen post. Maximum age limits range from 45 to 50 years, depending on the position. Eligibility Criteria and Experience

For Treasurer, applicants need 17 years of experience with 16 years of education, 15 years with 18 years of education, or 13 years with a Ph.D. Experience must relate to accounts, finance and audit, or financial management in a university, government department or autonomous statutory organization in pay scale 17 or equivalent and above.

Associate Professor applicants must hold a relevant Ph.D. and meet either of these experience requirements:

• Ten years of teaching/research experience in a recognized institution, college or university, or 10 years of relevant professional experience in a national or international organization, including at least two years of teaching experience.
• Five years of post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized university or postgraduate institution, or relevant professional experience in a national or international organization.

Associate Professor candidates must also have 10 research publications, including at least four published during the last five years in HEC/PEC-recognized journals.

Assistant Professor candidates must hold a Ph.D. in the relevant field. The advertisement does not specify an additional experience requirement for these positions.

The two contract Assistant Professor appointments will initially be for six months, extendable up to three years or until a regularly appointed employee joins the same sanctioned post, whichever occurs earlier. Age relaxation may be considered under government rules on a case-by-case basis.

1. Download the prescribed application form from www.uetmardan.edu.pk.
2. Complete the form and attach attested copies of educational degrees/certificates, transcripts/DMCs, experience certificates, CNIC and domicile, along with one recent photograph.
3. Deposit the applicable non-refundable fee at any Bank of Khyber branch in Pakistan into the university account titled “Miscellaneous Fund UETM,” Branch Code 0179, Account No. 003001354859.
4. Attach the original fee deposit receipt to the application.
5. For Associate Professor posts, also submit three sets of research papers published in HEC-recognized W, X or Y category journals and three copies of the publication list showing publication years and journal names.
6. Submit the complete application to the Office of the Registrar, UET Mardan, by October 12, 2026.

Applicants with foreign qualifications must provide the required HEC/IBCC equivalence certificate before the closing date. Documents in languages other than English must include an officially verified English translation. Where transcripts do not show percentage marks, an official percentage certificate from the awarding institution is required.

Candidates who previously applied for the same posts under Advertisement No. 05/2026 for faculty positions, or the advertisement dated January 6, 2026, for Treasurer, must submit a fresh application with the required documents and proof of their earlier application. They are exempt from paying the processing fee again.

Only eligible shortlisted candidates will be called for demonstration/interview, and original documents will be required at the interview. Incomplete or late applications will be rejected. No TA/DA will be paid.
