Eligibility and Skills
Assistant candidates must complete a six-week Basic IT Training course, including MS Office, conducted by the National Information Technology Board (NITB) before the end of probation.
Stenotypist candidates must be computer literate and meet minimum speeds of 80 words per minute in shorthand and 40 words per minute in typing.
Data Entry Operator candidates must meet a minimum data entry speed of 10,000 keystrokes per hour.
A one-time relaxation of the prescribed skills requirements applies at initial appointment for the Stenotypist and Data Entry Operator posts. If none of the candidates hold the relevant certifications at selection, selected candidates must acquire the required proficiency through departmental on-the-job training during probation. Their proficiency will be assessed before confirmation.
Salary
The Assistant post carries BS-15. The Stenotypist and Data Entry Operator posts carry BS-14.
Age Limit
The base age limit is 18 to 28 years for all three posts.
Candidates with a Balochistan domicile are eligible for upper-age relaxation in addition to the five-year general age relaxation. Other claims for relaxation are considered under the applicable Establishment Division rules.
Selection Process
Recruitment will follow the criteria and procedure set by the Establishment Division.
At the interview, candidates must present their original documents and a set of attested copies of their certificates, degrees and other relevant documents.
Selected candidates must submit a medical certificate. If a selected candidate is declared medically unfit, the post will be offered to an alternate candidate.
No travel or daily allowance will be paid for attending a test or interview.
