PCSIR Jobs 2026 for Instructor, Research Assistant, Driver and Other Posts
The Pakistan Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (PCSIR) is hiring for nine posts under the Balochistan merit quota. The vacancies include one Instructor, one Research Assistant, two Drivers, one Naib Qasid, three Gardeners and one Cook. Eligibility and Other Requirements
All applicants must hold a valid Balochistan local or domicile certificate.
Drivers must hold a valid driving licence and be familiar with traffic rules.
Relevant experience or a certificate is preferred for Gardener and Cook applicants.
Candidates with higher qualifications and strong academic records will receive preference.
Candidates already in government service must apply through the proper channel.
Women are encouraged to apply. Persons with disabilities may apply under the applicable government quota, and transgender applicants may apply under the applicable rules.
Age Limit
The maximum age is 35 years for all posts under a one-time special dispensation. Any further applicable relaxation will follow government rules.
Selection Process
Walk-in interviews will be held on 21 and 22 November 2026 at PCSIR Laboratories, near Mian Ghundi, Mastung Road, Quetta.
The Departmental Selection Committee will assess candidates based on their qualifications, subject knowledge, general knowledge and interview performance.
No travel or daily allowance will be paid for attending the interview.
