PIMS Islamabad Jobs 2026 for 21 Assistant, Clerks, Stenotypist, Technicians and Other Posts
Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Islamabad, is inviting applications for 21 regular positions against the 6% Balochistan quota. Eligibility Criteria and Other Requirements

Six-week basic IT training, including MS Office, conducted by NITB is mandatory after selection and before completion of probation
Stenotypist
Minimum shorthand speed of 80 words per minute, typing speed of 40 words per minute and computer literacy
Upper Division Clerk
Three-week basic IT training, including MS Office, conducted by NITB is mandatory after selection and before completion of probation
Lower Division Clerk
Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute; three-week NITB basic IT training, including MS Office, after selection and before completion of probation
Skill relaxation
A one-time relaxation in prescribed trainable skills may apply where no candidate holds the required certification at selection; proficiency must be acquired and assessed before confirmation
Stenotypist and LDC training
Selected candidates receiving skill relaxation must acquire the required proficiency through departmental training during probation
Government employees
Must apply through the proper channel and provide an NOC
Reserved categories
2% disability quota, 5% minorities quota, 10% women quota and provisions for transgender candidates will apply under Federal Government rules
